Duck and Goose Hunting

Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters is located in beautiful Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in the heart of the Central Flyway. Literally millions of waterfowl fly over the prairies of Saskatchewan everyday as they begin their southern migration across Canada to warmer regions. You will see over ten species of ducks and over five sub species of Canada geese ranging from Giant Greaters to small Cacklers as well as Sand Hill Cranes. We also have an abundant number of snow geese and white fronted geese better known as Specklebellies. It is not unusual to see over 30,000 geese in one field. The duck hunting is like none other in North America. On any hunt you will see groups of ducks ranging in the hundreds.

Our party had the hunt of a lifetime with Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters. We saw more birds, shot more and killed more than we would over 5 seasons at home. The SWO guides are very knowledgeable and each was excellent with a duck and goose call. While you are hunting in the field, other SWO guides are scouting for the afternoon duck hunt or the goose hunt the following day. The guides know which areas the birds are using, and they put us on the birds for every hunt. SWO provides excellent decoys, blinds, dogs, ammunition and vehicles. Our group can't wait to get back to Saskatchewan to hunt with SWO. I would recommend them to anyone. I have not had a better hunting experience anywhere.

My brother and I experienced our first waterfowl hunt in Saskatchewan, Canada in the fall, and it was definitely one of the greatest hunting trips I've been on (and I have been hunting for over 40 years). The quality and professionalism of the hunt were outstanding; I couldn't have been more impressed with the top-of-the-line blind set-ups, the great decoy spreads, the well-trained black lab to retrieve the birds, and amazing sunsets! Thanks to some great pre-scouting from our outfitters Michael and Don, they put us right on the birds and every member of our hunting party was able to bag our daily limit of greenhead mallards, as well as greater and lesser Canadas'. Their knowledge of the birds and their habits was phenomenal! Saskatoon Waterfowl Outfitters is definitely a first-class operation!

What an AMAZING experience. My husband, father in law, and myself went on a hunting trip here this month (October 2018) and to say it was an experience of a lifetime would NOT be giving it enough credit. The guides were amazing; genuine, knowledgeable, and made the experience one of a kind.
